Description:
This genus is recognized by its oval shape, which is roughly two times longer than it is wide. The head comprises approximately one-third of the total body length. A notable characteristic of this genus is the absence of a rostrum. Positioned at the front of the head is a sizable compound eye, and the head itself displays a rounded shape.
