Description:
Dero indica is reddish in color, with a bluntly triangular prostomium bearing small sensory hairs and lacking eyes. The number of body segments ranges from 31 to 47. Dorsal setae begin in segment VI, with 2 hairs and 1 needle per bundle in posterior segments. The hairs are long, pointed, and slightly curved.
