Description:
Cyclotella atomus exhibits a flat valve face with short striae arranged around the valve’s margin. A fultoportula is visible slightly off-center towards the valve’s center, appearing as a dark dot. Marginal fultoportulae occur every fourth to fifth costa and are observed as dark spots in deep focus
