Description:
It ranges from yellow to brown in color and measure between 1.5 to 1.8 mm in length. Their caudal branch lacks a dorsal crest and has a hairy inner surface. In female individuals, the lateral setae are positioned at a distance from the base of the caudal branch. The antennae are composed of multiple segments. The fifth leg comprises two distinct segments, with the length of the distal segment being less than twice its width.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
