Description:
These organisms ary in length from 0.5 to 5 mm. Their bodies are distinctly segmented into two parts and feature five pairs of legs. The oval-shaped anterior section comprises the head and the initial five segments of the thorax. Two tail appendages extend from the rear. Female individuals carry eggs in two small pouches.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
