Description:
Cyclops scutifer bears resemblance to Cyclops strennus, yet it distinguishes itself in specific morphological aspects. For instance, the fourth thoracic segments of C. scutifer exhibit greater expansion compared to those of C. strennus. Additionally, the third mandibular endopod in C. scutifer is slightly over three times longer and broader than its counterpart in C. strennus.
