Description:
The cells are flattened and oval-shaped, relatively large with an average size of 40 µm. They possess two flagella, one shorter and curled while the other longer and straight, both attached at one end of the cell. Chromatophores are present. Reproduction occurs without mitosis, and sexual reproduction has not been observed.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Inhabits freshwater aquatic systems.
