The body is leaf-shaped, somewhat bluntly conical at the front and flattened at the back. The oral sucker is round, muscular, and positioned slightly away from the tip. The acetabulum is nearly round, larger than the oral sucker, and encircled by a fold of skin. There is a small pre-pharynx followed by a rounded, muscular pharynx. The esophagus is slender and moderately developed. The caecum runs laterally, nearly parallel to the body’s length.
