The megascleres found in Corvospongilla bhavnagarensis are identified as amphistrongyla. They are relatively short, not overly thick, slightly curved, entirely smooth, and exhibit a terminal swelling. Typically, their dimensions range from 190 to 205 mm in length and 0.01 to 0.18 mm in width. Microscleres, on the other hand, possess microbirotulates characterized by a smooth shaft with a slight curve and four recurved hooks at the terminus. The shaft measures between 0.041 and 0.042 mm in length, with rotules having a diameter of 8-9 mm. Gemmoscleres in this species take the form of amphioxea, featuring a strong point, slight curvature, and a surface covered with short, acute spines. These gemmoscleres typically measure 43-45 mm in length and 4 mm in width. The gemmules, which are spherical and smooth, are loosely attached to the sponge surface. Their foramen is not precisely tubular but appears as a conical projection with a diameter ranging from 5 to 6 mm.
