Description:
Male Description: The horizontal surface of the frons is entirely pale-yellow, almost white. The vertical surface of the frons features a well-developed black bowed crossbar, creating a distinctive ‘raised eyebrow’ pattern. The suture between the frons and clypeus is nearly unmarked, with only a small brownish dot in the middle. The anteclypeus is black, while the postclypeus is yellow. The labrum is yellow with a thin black rim and a short incomplete brownish streak along the median suture. The labium is yellow, and both the antennae and vertex are black. The fore side of the occipital triangle is pale-yellow and almost flat, while the hind part is bright yellow and strongly inflated. The eyes are light blue, turning to yellow-brown post mortem. The postocular area is black with wide bright-yellow bands descending along the postgenae. Thorax: The hind border of the prothorax has a continuous yellow rim, and there is a yellow streak along each side. Yellow antehumeral stripes on the synthorax have wavy outer margins, appearing rounded in frontal view but angular in dorsal view. An additional yellow mark between two main yellow bands is long triangular in shape but rather short. The anal triangle is 3-celled, and the membranula is narrow and smoky-gray. Legs are entirely black, except for the bright yellow coxae. Abdomen: The dorsal surface of S1 has indistinct yellow markings, and lateral markings are not visible from above. A large yellow mark on the sides of S1 is as long as the entire side and almost as broad as the upper portion of S1. The dorsal surface of S8 features two 7-shaped yellow figures formed by hind and fore markings connected with each other. On S7, these figures are separated, and the 7-shaped figure is absent. S10 is black in the middle but has two large obliquely diverging yellow lateral spots, each as long as the entire segment. Female Description: Eyes are light green, not blue. The horizontal surface of the frons is entirely bright-yellow, much brighter than in males. Abdomen: The dorsal surface of S1 is black with two thin yellow streaks converging towards the segment base. Ovipositor: The ovipositor is almost entirely black, somewhat brownish at the base.
