Description:
The organism has a body shaped like a vase, with a foot resembling a stalk that is ringed in contracted specimens. It is not colonial. The ventral antennae are fused at the proximal end for about one-third of their length and free at the distal end. Some specimens have eggs attached to them by a jelly-like substance.
