Description:
This plant is an annual herb with a spreading stem that creeps along the ground, forming diffuse branches, and develops fibrous roots at the lower nodes. Its leaves are typically narrow, with entire margins and pointed tips. The plant produces small, delicate blue flowers with three petals, which emerge from the leaf axils.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It grows in freshwater environments such as lakes, ponds, and haors. In Bangladesh, it is commonly found in the Tangail, Mymensingh, and Sylhet districts.
