Description:
It is a moderate-sized worm with two pairs of eyespots, where the posterior pair is slightly smaller than the anterior pair. The pharynx and head organs are well-defined. The opisthaptor is narrowly constricted, featuring two pairs of anchors and 12 marginal hooklets.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It is an obligate parasite of tilapia that matures in the gill filaments of the host and is widely distributed in Bangladesh.
