Description:
It is a small frog. The head length is slightly greater than the width. It has a pointed snout with a distinct, obtuse canthus rostralis. The eyes are prominent and protrude from the head. The tympanum is distinct, round, and slightly concave. The dorsal skin is smooth, while the abdomen and the ventral surfaces of the thighs have small, flat warts. The fingers are equipped with discs and marginal grooves, and both the fingers and toes are webbed.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits forest floors, freshwater wetlands, ponds, paddy fields, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed in the greater Sylhet region of Bangladesh.
