Description:
Fin formula: D. 2/7; P1. 14-15; P2. 8; A. 2 / 7. It has elogated body. Barbels are absent; lower jaw with a sharp crescentric body edges. It has small mouth with blunt snout. Lateral line curved with 45-49 scales along lateral line. Upper lip present but lower lip is absent. Body coloration: Silvery in body; back darkish.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Found in rivers of the northern part of Bangladesh.
