Description:
The organism’s body is stout and spherical in shape. Its lorica is thin and pliable. At the anterior end of the lorica, there are four distinct small spine-like projections. The foot aperture is square, and there are no protrusions or elevations on the lorica. Unlike posterior spines, cirri are present. Additionally, it possesses a single dark-red eye-spot.

Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
