Description:
Body is laterally compressed. Body encircled by 7 oblique brown or black bands. Separated by yellowish ones of equal or shorter width. Cadual fin is forked. 2-4 broken black bands occur on the caudal portion.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Abundant in clear hill streams of Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Rangpur and Chittagong Hill tracts.
