Description:
They have a semicircular, short prostomium bearing a sensory pit dorsally, and coelomocytes are present. However, eyes are absent. The body comprises 75 to 105 segments, followed by a few undifferentiated posterior segments. Hair setae are not present. Each anterior segment bears 5-6 setae, while posterior segments have 1-4. On segment V, there are 7 setae. The setae are single-pointedand decreasing in length in posterior segments. Penial setae are absent. The clitellum is present on segments VIII to the first quarter of IX. The alimentary canal is not prominently visible.

Commonly found in the fish pond, rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh
