Description:
It has a spherical body shape and appears translucent. It lacks a distinct head but has a visible eyespot. The first antenna protrudes from the rostrum. The second and third legs possess small setules connected to the seta. Gravid specimens carry one or more egg sacs near the abdomen. Its primary method of reproduction is through parthenogenesis.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
