Description:
It has an almost circular shape, being short, wide, and predominantly colorless. Its head is evenly rounded at the front and extends into a relatively long rostrum underneath. The rostrum is narrower compared to the rest of the body. The dorsal edge of the carapace is highly arched, while the ventral edge curves inward. Additionally, the abdominal claw bears 6-7 teeth.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
