Description:
The head is of moderate size, featuring an obtuse and moderately prominent snout. The jaws have denticulated edges, and the upper jaw is not notched mesially. Red longitudinal lines adorn the nape. Tubercles are present on the keels posteriorly on the second and third vertebral shields, and the posterior margin is strongly crenulated. The nuchal shield is small, trapezoidal, and widest at the rear. The plastron is yellowish, with a large inguinal and a smaller axillary.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Its habitat includes freshwater habitats such as rivers, streams. It occurs in Ganges River System (Padma river) in Bangladesh.
