Description:
Fin formula: D. 9 (2/7); P. 16; V. 9; A. 13-15 (2-3/11-12); C. 19; Body is slender as well as elongate. Ventral profile is more convex but dorsal profile is greatly straight. Two pairs of barbels are present which are short. Upper jaw is slightly shorter than lower jaw. Maxillary barbels are shorter than rostral pair. Scales are moderate with many radii. Dorsal and caudal fins grey-edged; fins are yellowish in color.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Occur in streams containing gravels or rocky bottom of Dinajpur.
