Description:
The cells exhibit an ovoid to pear-shaped morphology, measuring 9 µm in length and 6 µm in width. They possess a flagellum that is approximately the same length as the body, around 10 µm long. The anterior end is narrowly rounded, while the posterior end is slightly narrowed and obtuse. These organisms do not engage in sexual reproduction and reproduce exclusively through fission.

Mostly found in organotrophic freshwater waterbodies.
