Description:
These are sizable, spherical species with an incudate mastax and a carnivorous diet. They lack both intestine and anus. Found in littoral habitats, their corona is uncomplicated, featuring a single peripheral band of cilia. They are classified as littoral species. Asplanchnid rotifers possess a foot and toes but lack an intestine.
