Description:
The test, or shell, is membranous and exhibits a double marginal contour. The inner membrane is smooth and clearly defined, while the outer aperture is serrulated and inverted. The organism contains a single nucleus, and its pseudopodia are blunt, digitate, and spread apart. The shell is composed of a double membrane, with an additional external mucilaginous layer.
