The snake exhibits yellowish stripes extending from the neck to the tip of the tail. Its dorsal surface is bluish-brown or olive-brown with dark cross bars that become lighter towards the tail. The ventral surface appears pale cream or whitish. The coloration of the head and body is similar, with yellow sides on the head. Its forked tongue is black.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It resides in grassy fields, bushes, cultivated lands, and gardens across both plain and low hilly areas.Widely distributed throughout Bangladesh.
