Description:
It has an oval body shape with a greyish-brown hue. Its shells are composed of polygonal patterns with fine longitudinal lines within them. The rostrum is fairly brief, and the bottom rear corner features 2-4 minor teeth. The back edge of the valves appears straight. It possesses postabdominal claws accompanied by two basal spines.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
