Description:
Allocreadium mymensinghi is a medium-sized worm with a smooth cuticle. The prepharynx is absent, and the pharynx is well-developed. It has a short esophagus, and the bifurcated intestinal caeca extend to the posterior end. The oral sucker is subterminal, and the ventral sucker is pre-equatorial and rounded.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits the intestines of the stinging catfish, Heteropneustes fossilis.It is found throughout Bangladesh.
