Description:
The species exhibit a pale yellow hue with a hint of bluish-green. Females measure between 0.9 to 1.5 mm in length, while males range from 0.7 to 1.0 mm. Their antennae consist of 17 segments. The seta on the outer edge of the tail is positioned near the middle. Additionally, the lateral seta of the furca is comparatively longer.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
