Description:
The frog has a head that is slightly elongated with a pointed snout and a distinct tympanum. The cephalic skin is rough and co-ossified with the skull bone. Its fingers are webbed at the base, with the first finger being slightly shorter than the second. The tibiotarsal articulation reaches between the eyes and the nostrils. The tips of the fingers and toes are dilated into well-developed discs.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits forest floors, freshwater wetlands, ponds, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed in the greater Sylhet region of Bangladesh.
