Description:
This is a small-sized frog with a large, triangular head that is longer than it is wide. The snout projects over the lower jaw, and the canthus rostralis is indistinct with a concave loreal region. The nostrils are rounded, very small, and situated much closer to the tip of the snout than to the eyes. The tympanum is round. The fingers are small, free of webbing, and have rounded tips. The toes are long, thin, and also have rounded tips, with weakly developed webbing between them.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits forest floors, freshwater wetlands, ponds, paddy fields, ditches, canals etc. It is found in the central region of Bangladesh, particularly in Dhaka.
