Description:
The frog possesses a robust physique with warty skin on its back. It has a broad head and a truncated snout. Its dorsal coloration ranges from brown to golden-brown, adorned with a noticeable pattern marked in blackish-brown. Another black band starts from the snout, passes through the nostril and eyes, and ends at the groin. The underside is whitish in color. Its fingers and toes lack webbing, and the tips of its fingers are not swollen.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits wet grasses, freshwater wetlands, ponds, paddy fields, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed widely throughout Bangladesh.
