Description:
The head is elongated with a pointed snout. The dorsal surface is light brown or greenish, while the sides are dark brown. A glandular dorsolateral fold is whitish with a yellow to golden hue and edged with black. Sometimes, an indistinct fold extends from behind the tympanum to the shoulder. The ventral surface is white. The fingers are free, and the toes are almost fully webbed.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits agricultural land, freshwater wetlands, ponds, ditches, canals etc. It is distributed widely throughout Bangladesh.
