Description:
The color of the shell is either white or a muted brown, featuring black longitudinal lines and interrupted patterns that are wavy and closely spaced. The shell itself is solid and oval, with prominent black undulating lines and bands, occasionally exhibiting fine, wavy, and closely set black lines. The aperture is broad, and the columellar callus is small and smooth. The operculum is semi-lunar in shape.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
This species is primarily a brackish water species occasionally extending into freshwaters. Also found in the crevices of mud or under surface of bricks, on mangrove roots and trunks.
