Description:
The shell is diminutive and has a globosely conical shape with five whorls, predominantly smooth, except for 3-4 spiral ridges near the suture. Typically, it exhibits a color range from yellowish-brown to dark-brown, often adorned with dark spiral bands. In terms of size, the shell measures approximately 21 mm in length, 15 mm in width, with an aperture length of about 12 mm and an aperture width of around 7 mm.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It prefers hard and rocky bottoms for attachment. Occurring in streams, rivers, irrigation canals and some pond water. Abundant in almost all the hilly districts of Bangladesh.
