Description:
The body is elongated with a broad, frilled scolex. Testes and vitellaria spread laterally around the highly convoluted seminal duct in the vitellarian zone, pre-uterine. The uterus does not extend anterior to the cirrus pouch. The excretory system consists of several longitudinal trunks with a peripheral plexus.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits the intestine of the freshwater fishes such as common carps and mirror carps. It is found throughout Bangladesh.
