Description:
The body is elongated and flat, with a rounded posterior end. The scolex is oval or cone-shaped and truncated at the front, perfectly smooth, without suckers or loculi. The excretory system comprises four lateral canals, two on each side, which join posteriorly.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits the intestine of the freshwater clariid fishes such as Clarius batrachus. It is found throughout Bangladesh.
