Description:
The body is small, elongated, and tapers at both ends. The skin is smooth and lacks spines. The oral sucker is spherical and sub-terminal. The mouth opening is located mid-ventrally. The pharynx is oval, and the tubular esophagus opens into a sac-like intestine.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It inhabits the intestines of the freshwater fishes. It is found in Dhaka and Sylhelt of Bangladesh.
