The body is small in size. It has two pairs of eyespots. The intestinal crura merge behind the testes. In most specimens, the loop of the vas deferens around the copulatory organ is clearly visible. The marginal hooks are thin, with a distinct demarcation between the handle and its pivot, and a small projecting “heel” of the hooklet. The anchors have a well-developed inner root and a straight, recurved point. The dorsal bar is slightly curved backward with widened ends.
