The carapace of this species is sub-oval, smooth, and strongly convex both longitudinally and transversely, with a distinct H-shaped mark in the middle. The anterolateral borders of the carapace have three prominent teeth, and the three terminal joints of the legs are more compressed, with a single spine on the posterior border of the merus. The lower border of the orbit, inner border of the arm, and wrist are denticulate, and the second pair of legs is the longest, while the fourth pair is the shortest. In males, both chelipeds are equal, while in females, the left one is larger than the right. The propodus is broad, not compressed, and longitudinally thin, with lateral compression. Both the upper and lower margins of the propodus and dactylus are setose, and the dorsal and ventral margins of the dactylus have spinules. The dactylus is long and styliform. The coloration includes a deep-red dorsal surface on the carapace and cheliped, with a light yellowish sculpture on the ventral surface. Pereiopods are also reddish. In males, the carapace length is approximately 17-26 mm with a width of 20-30 mm, while in females, it ranges from 16.2-25.5 mm in length and 19.7-29 mm in width.
