Description:
The carapace is olive, bordered by a yellow rim. The head is olive with black reticulations, adorned with large orange or yellow patches on the snout and behind the eyes.Limbs exhibit an olive color. Juveniles are more vibrant than adults but lose intensity as they grow. The shell is low and oval, with a pre-neural and a neural separating the first pair of pleurals, and the shell bones are pitted. Males have a relatively longer and thicker tail than females
