Description:
The lorica of these organisms consists of a single cylindrical piece, which may exhibit teeth, longitudinal grooves, or ridges. Their bodies are cylindrical, often curved, and display asymmetry. They have spine-like toes, which are of unequal length and adorned with several small spinules at their base. These organisms are capable of both creeping and free-swimming movements. Their mastax is of the virgate type, and their trophi exhibit asymmetry as well.

Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
