Description:
The organism’s body displays moderate dorsoventral flattening. Its lorica features completely fused dorsal and ventral plates. The posterior margin is adorned with four spines, while the anterior margin bears ten spines. Its feet are rigid and segmented. Additionally, it has two toes, and its mastax contains malleate trophi.

Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
