Description:
They are sturdy, with short antennae that extend past the last segment of the thorax. Females exhibit a yellowish or orange hue, while males display a reddish coloration. They possess a brief furca with two branches. On the final pair of legs, there are two slender, elongated spines at the tip.

Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
