Description:
The body is relatively compact and robust. Its coloration is striking, with the front portion being nearly colorless, while the tail and front antennae showcase a striking golden or orange hue. Outer bristles are connected close to the tips of relatively short bracts.The antennae are comprised of 11 and 12 segments, respectively. The posterior section of the thorax is less pronounced, and the final pair of legs is noticeably reduced.

Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
