Description:
It has a round body shape with prominent antennules. Its length ranges from 0.5 to 1.2 millimeters. It features a relatively large and clearly defined head with a supraocular depression. It possesses a distal forked tooth on the postabdomen. With less than eight postanal spines, there are no hairs present on the head or valves.

Commonly found in the rivers, lakes, haors, and other fresh waterbodies of Bangladesh.
