Description:
The cell body is predominantly spherical, occasionally featuring conical or globular bulges. Colonies exhibit a spherical shape with an inner space, and cell attachment is facilitated by a protrusion of the cell wall. Chloroplasts take on a cup-shaped structure with a pyrenoid. Reproduction occurs through asexual coenobium.
