The female of this species has an almost oval-rounded carapace outline, featuring a very small posterior protuberance. The valves are reticulated. The head is rounded in front, inflated behind the eye, and angulated in front of the antennules. The antennules are moderately long, with a sensory seta near the distal end. The postabdomen is not sinuate above the anal spines, with 7 marginal anal spines and a row of 3-4 long, slender anal spines somewhat inner to the proximal spines. The claw is long and finely setulate. The length of the organism is 0.53 mm.
In terms of reproduction, this species utilizes parthenogenesis. The parthenogenetic female progresses through multiple adult instars and produces batches of eggs. These eggs are not released externally but are instead incubated within the mother’s brood pouch. Embryonic development occurs entirely within the brood pouch, and the offspring are eventually released as juveniles.
