Description:
The body is elongated with rounded ends. The subsessile, cup-shaped acetabulum is located near the anterior end. There is no prepharynx. The pharynx is oval, and the oesophagus is short. Intestinal caeca extend to the posterior end of the body.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It usually infects spiny eels and resides in the intestine of the host. It is found throughout Bangladesh.
