Description:
This plant is a creeping aquatic herb with rhizomes, branching extensively. Its fronds have stalks and are composed of four leaflets each, which are triangular in shape. The leaflets may have entire or slightly serrated outer margins and possess numerous fine veins that interconnect. Sporocarps, which are structures containing spores, emerge from the base of the leaf stalks.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It primarily inhabits marshy areas and can be found along the edges of swamps and lakes. This species is widely distributed across Bangladesh.
